PAINTING STUDIO The First Weekend Of Spring A Shade Of Gray And Touch Of Light By Stephen Craig Rowe

The first weekend of spring was very gray, with a cool damp cold mixed with a bit of snow on Saturday that made the walk comical with umbrella in hand and wink in the eye.  Blinking away tiny sharp shards of rain turned to ice in the winds with a bite to sting the face and cause a smile that improved the pace.   Sunday was another gust of cool grey.  While walking the pace nearly broke into a run, so brisk was the stride a better mind pulled back on the bridle and carried on, head held high free and alone in dreams, and walking.
Some small shoots are about the roses in the little garden a touch of magenta and green pushing, yearning for the sun to come in the greening and glory of spring.
Perhaps a slice of time that is of all time.  The universe has ever been, is, and ever shall be forever until it is seen inside the eyelids of the Heavenly Father.  Then in a blink the universe goes on forever
and ever.
As ever be well,
Stephen Craig Rowe

Beautiful painting Stephen! Saturday was a bitter cold day here too. I am in the process of trying to get over this bug and pack without accomplishing very much.

Beautifully written and painted Stephen! You know I can hardly wait for true springtime to arrive, then my favorite season of summer.

Spring? What is that? I’ve heard about this spring thing. Supposedly in some parts of the country there are actually more than summer and winter as seasons. :o)
